A year ago my life felt like it was falling apart around me not realising just how unhappy my 13 year old was to the point she had turned to self harming I really didn’t know which way to turn. I was given Sarah’s details and I was nervous to contact her as I felt like I’d failed my child but all I can say is WOW!! I’m so glad I did let Sarah help us. She helped all of my family and she gave me ways to help my child through a low time but most importantly my daughter felt so comfortable to open up to Sarah and she has come so far. I truly believe we wouldn’t have come as far as we have without Sarah. All I can say is do not be afraid to ask for someone’s help or even just an ear to listen. I can highly recommend Sarah having personally used her. Not only did she help me to resolve a difficult situation, she also gave me tools to help me understand myself and how to deal with other situations going forward. I feel I have learnt so much and am now better able to cope with these situations. Sarah is very patient and compassionate. My family and I have had relationship issues with each other and has caused a massive divide and a lot of anger and hatred. When I was going through some big changes last year Sarah was there for me and has been helping me so much. In my first session with Sarah I brought my mum along as there were somethings that I needed to say to her but just didn’t know how to say them. Sarah was AMAZING in facilitating this conversation and helping us both see things clearly from each others perspective. My relationship with my mum since then has been stronger and much more open and honest and I no longer feel myself getting defensive when talking about certain issues. Along side this I have continued to see Sarah on my own and she is kind and empathetic and honest. I have been having issues with my mental health for years and being a male put my head under the sand! My wife forced me to go for counselling and it’s the best thing I have ever done.
